Just a quick entry this time round because I have so many things going on!
Despite buying seeds whenever I can, I still always seem to want more. Today I was able to totally indulge myself and I finally got to send off my order to the Irish Seed Savers Association.
I received their seed catalogue some weeks ago and have been poring over it, but I delayed actually making my order so that when I finally got around to it, I was unable to order my selection online. As you can imagine, there has been a huge upsurge in interest in this area, so this wonderful organisation was completely overwhelmed. In order for them to catch up on the orders they had received, they closed the virtual store and asked customers to make their orders by mail.
I have ordered a selection of fruits and vegetables and some flowers too – it is important to keep our pollinators in mind!
I was happy to oblige and off I trotted with my stamped envelope tucked into my handbag. In fact, I even managed to pick up a few packets of seeds when I went to the supermarket to post it! Such luck!
